Having lived in big cities on both coasts and a few places in between, David is a well-rounded individual with broad and varied life experience. Naturally inquisitive, with a fervor for integrating cross-cultural wisdom, he considers himself a patient “student of life,” with a commitment to perpetual learning. In his spare time he enjoys visiting museums, cycling, yoga, backpacking, appreciating fine ales and lagers, and of course, reading.
David earned his M.S.L.I.S. degree, with a certificate in Rare Books and Special Collections, from the Palmer School of Library and Information Science, Long Island University, in May 2011. He also holds a B.A. in Sociology, magna cum laude, from San Francisco State University. His research interests include bibliography of early printed books and ephemera, archival preservation of rare and unique cultural heritage materials, anthropological study of indigenous cultures, modern art, and architecture.
He currently lives and works in New York City.
